A not so dizzying case of POTS. Update Dec 2017

Updated: Sep 29, 2023

In September 2017, 24 year old Mandy came to me for help with her POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) which had taken over her life since her diagnosis last year. She had tried several prescription medicines but none seemed to help. You can read here just how bad she was feeling and how we started her treatment.

It's now December 2017 and I'm pleased to report that Mandy is doing really well. Despite some dental work that set her progress back a couple of weeks, her POTS symptoms continue to subside.

Further improvements include the complete disappearance of her night sweats that would leave her drenched. Her heartburn remains gone and now also her constipation after a second dose of Sulphur. She hasn't fainted once either. One very interesting improvement is that the awful nightmares that have plagued her for years seem to have disappeared and she reports generally feeling less anxious. Together we've noticed that her symptoms are strongly related to her menstrual cycle, so our next task is to balance her hormones.

Mandy wrote recently to me describing her progress in her own words:

"I was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome eight months ago. I had been suffering for a few years with all the awful symptoms that come with POTS. I tried medicine prescribed by my specialist in London and it made me feel awful. I was replacing symptoms with other symptoms and covering things up with pills.

In desperation for other solutions I was recommended to see Paula. It was the best thing I ever did. She is very thorough, a great listener and made me feel completely at ease. After just one remedy I began to see improvements that I would never had believed. I started to feel my dizziness, exhaustion, sickness, palpitations and fainting attacks start to fade.

It is absolutely incredible to me how different I feel. I feel that I have my life back and I could not be more grateful. I strongly urge people suffering the way I was to try this form of medicine. I am walking evidence that it works. I still have some work to do with Paula but I'm well on my way to getting better."
